Please note that the launcher icon serves no practical purpose. If you're reading this, there's no need to open it! This application operates by utilizing a custom Quick Tile. To add the tile, simply pull down the notification shade completely, tap on the pencil or "EDIT" option, and drag the "Hide Notch" tile to the active area. ZENFONE 5 USERS:

If you're a ZenFone 5 user and the tile doesn't appear in your quick settings menu after installation, simply reboot your device. This issue is caused by a bug in ZenUI!

Whether you have a phone with a notch or not, you might find yourself bothered by the black blob in the middle of a light-colored status bar most of the time.

If this description resonates with you, then this app is worth considering. Nacho Notch darkens the status bar when your device is in portrait orientation, blending it more harmoniously with the notch and effectively "hiding" it.

Even if you don't have a notch but still desire a black status bar, this app can accommodate your preference. It automatically determines the height of your status bar, eliminating the need to manually adjust it and ensuring an optimal fit.
